"We Accept Your Cryptocurrency Here" "Where Is Your Cryptocurrency Accepted?" "List Your Cryptocurrency Here"

There are a number of steps a cryptocurrency will takes to legitimize their newly created currency, but NONE are more important than utility -- acceptance of your currency.

The golden rules of cryptocurrency development is the more places that your currency is accepted the stronger your currency will be.

It would be great to see a sign that said "We Accept Your Cryptocurrency Here" wouldn't it?  Well PICISI.com has come as close as anyone to doing exactly that, they are welcoming all publicly traded currencies to be listed as accepted at the site.

If you want your currency accepted at PICISI.com and it is already listed at any exchange it will be approved for acceptance at PICISI.com.

When your CC is listed they ask that you reflect that fact in your forum thread OP and or your website at the area for 'where the currency is accepted'.

5 Reasons Your Cryptocurrency Should Be A PICISI.com Sponsor

5 reasons your cryptocurrency should be a PICISI.com sponsor
1) host CC sponsor
2) advertising perk sponsor
3) donation perk sponsor
4) campaign text sponsor
and
5) video sponsor

PICISI.com brings cryptocurrency (CC) technology to the real world with meaningful purpose; every CC should be a PICISI endorser, advertiser, or sponsor. When an entity or CC community leader publicly endorses the PICISI vision we include them as a PICISI endorser

PICISI endorsers not expected to make a payment of any kind.

PICISI advertisers are supporters who buy site advertising opportunities: http://picisi.blogspot.com/2015/09/picisicom-sponsorship-advertising-rate.html Advertisers pay for specific advertisements placed, they are not expected to engage with the site via social networking or offline activities.

The highest level of support any entity can give PICISI.com is through sponsorship. PICISI sponsors are expected to support the site by buying advertising opportunities, favorably engaging PICISI.com via social media in the form of comments, likes, shares, favorites, etc and/or participating in offline events.

The semi-annual sponsorship fee is $100 for 6 months - benefits include, but are not limited to, occasional mention in articles, interviews, and promotional material like this one; logo on sponsor graphic card; 1 article specifically about sponsor; and depending on cumulative sponsorship value compared to other sponsors on a monthly basis sponsor logo placement on PICISI.com home page or category page.

Here are some practical examples of how a CC community may benefit from advertising in these ways:

1) Host CC - the host CC sponsors is the CC that all other CC donations for that campaign will be converted to. There are essentially 3 ways a host CC is determined: a) direct selection by campaign organizer, b) by auction, or c) the first to offer equiv of $1. 'C' is expected to be the most popular host CC selection method.

Acme Beauty products creates a campaign to expand their line, they have friends at Magi coin so they opt to select Magi for their host CC sponsor. Each time someone donates CC of any kind it is immediately converted to Magi and reflected in the new Magi balance for that campaign. This enables any CC to be donated to the campaign. Once selected, the host CC is in place for the duration of the campaign. During the campaign CC is never converted to fiat, and fiat is never converted to CC.

2) Ad Perk - an advertising perk is a gift package provided by a PICISI sponsor or advertiser, that is offered to donors of the campaign via perk selection, unused portions of the perk are returned to the sponsor or advertiser after campaign conclusion.

Acme Roofing company creates a campaign to expand their business, GSM coin wants to offer 80,000 GSM as an advertising perk. PICISI.com may create a perk to allows a donor to receive 10K GSM for a $7 donation to the campaign. Any portion of the original 80K GSM package remaining is returned to the sponsors / advertiser.

3) Donation Perk - donation perk and advertising perk are identical until the end of the campaign, for ad perks the remaining portion not going to campaign donors is sent back to the sponsor / advertiser, however for donation perks the remaining portion not going to campaign donors is converted to the host CC then donated to the campaign organizer.

4) Campaign Text - a specific area of the campaign description is set aside for advertising / sponsorship, that area will be available for up to 5 sponsor / advertiser logos.

5) Video - the first 5 seconds of the campaign video are set aside for the sponsor / advertiser message. The format is

a) narrator statement: "this video is brought to you by: Armis
b) [show sponsor (Armis) logo],
c) narrator says sponsor mantra: "Where Wisdom Always Wins"
then campaign video starts.

The cost of participation is EXTREMELY low to enable sponsors / advertisers to participate in mass.

PICISI (Philanthropic Investment and Charity for Inventions, Startups, and Ideas) is an ambitious crowdfunding startup that will accept all significant currency types.   This endeavor will likely change how cryptocurrency is viewed by the masses since it will enable people to see and use cryptocurrency in positive ways.

In January of 2015 the Einsteinium foundation (EMC2), a cryptocurrency (CC) organization, conducted a crowdfunding campaign to benefit a scientist: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/science-study-memory-loss-dueto-sleep-deprivation, during that campaign organizers tried unsuccessfully to have Indiegogo enable CC to be used as a donation vehicle for the campaign

EMC2 organizers found themselves having to create their own system to enable people who wanted to donate CC to be able to do so.  In addition to donating CC, developers, foundations, and communities were also encouraged to sponsor the campaign in different ways.

From that experience the idea of PICISI (pronounced ‘pick-eh-see’) a crowdfunding startup was born -- a rewards and donation based crowdfunding site that accepts multiple currencies and has many sponsorship opportunities.

PICISI is a big idea that needs a team of committed leaders to move it forward.  The Executive Director needs to assemble an energetic team of professionals, he is looking for:
* a Deputy Director –  second in command, is in charge when the Exec Dir is on vacation, incapacitated, or as directed by the Exec Dir.
* a Assistant Director – primary task is to assist the Executive Director and the Deputy Director however at times he may also serve other directors as the need arises. [position filled]
* a Content Director – responsible for all site content, his primary focus is quantity and quality of campaigns, secondly site usability
* a Promotion Director – responsible for promoting the site to sponsors, organizers, donors, and media for more business.
* a Communications Director – responsible for having our site make news somewhere around the world everyday. via press releases, articles, and interviews.

At PICISI.com every account will be verified, and every campaign will be reviewed by mgmt.  Every campaign will be guaranteed to receive some funding, some sponsorship, some publicity, some homepage time, and some consultation.

PICISI also wants to associate with self-employed individuals and entities from around the world, looking for:

* Promotion Contractor – satisfactorily completes PICISI assignments of contractor's choosing,
* Campaign Contractor – works for organizer to create, develop, and/or promote campaign,
* Referral Agent – refer people to PICISI for a fee.

Grafton beverage company taps into Wisconsin's equitycrowdfunding law

A Grafton firm that sells ready-made mixed drinks in bottles and cans is the first Milwaukee-area company to seek money from investors under Wisconsin's year-old equity "crowdfunding" law.
Philly's Premium Beverages LLC hopes to raise $90,000 to $240,000 under the law, which allows ordinary state residents to make relatively small investments in private companies — investments that otherwise could be made only by the wealthy.
The Grafton company, whose old-fashioneds and egg crème liqueurs are available in more than 800 locations, would use the money to buy inventory, and for general operating expenses, founder and majority owner Phillip J. Orlenko said Monday.
Philly's has launched its offering on the website of CraftFund LLC, a Milwaukee company that promotes crowdfunding initiatives by food and beverage firms.

Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud seeks crowdfunding help to fund blizzard boxes

For the first time, Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud is doing a crowdfunding campaign for the blizzard boxes it delivers to homebound residents in case of inclement weather.
The boxes, intended for those times when the volunteer drivers cannot drive to the homes of seniors and those with disabilities, contain enough food for two days and six meals.

"Basically, it's all ready-to-eat food. It doesn't need to be cooked," said Kimberly Spencer, resource development director for Meals on Wheels. "It's shelf-stable, ready to be eaten."
Meals on Wheels provides its clients with noontime meals Monday to Friday, packaging and delivering 63,000 meals a year. The meals are intended for seniors 60 years and older living in Loveland, Berthoud and Southern Larimer County, or about 95 percent of the nonprofit's clients, and residents who have a physical or mental disability, as long as they are homebound and unable to shop or cook for themselves.

The 90, 9, & 1 Rule Of Crowdfunding, The 90-9-1 Rule Of Internet Culture, and The 1, 9, and 90 Rule Of Law Enforcement [huh?]

The 90, 9, & 1 Rule Of Crowdfunding

Not long ago while doing crowdfunding industry research I came across a video that reitterated the old 90-9-1 rule and applied it to crowdfunding.  The speaker explained it this way:
90% of your social media followers will do absolutely nothing for you beyond the follow.
9% of your social media followers will do what they can but will not open their wallet to fund your campaign.
1% of  your social media followers will support you in multiple ways including financial support.

Ok, so I'm ready to post the entry but I think, let's see what the net has to say first, and of course the subject has been discussed in all sorts of ways, here's some of what I found.

1) According to: Nielsen Norman Group at http://www.nngroup.com/articles/participation-inequality/
"Summary: In most online communities, 90% of users are lurkers who never contribute, 9% of users contribute a little, and 1% of users account for almost all the action."

2) According to: Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1%25_rule_(Internet_culture)
Define it as:
"The 1% rule states that the number of people who create content on the Internet represents approximately 1% (give or take) of the people actually viewing that content. For example, for every person who posts on a forum, generally about 99 other people are viewing that forum but not posting. The term was coined by authors and bloggers Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba,[3] although earlier references to the same concept[4] did not use this name.
The terms lurk and lurking, in reference to online activity, are used to refer to online observation without engaging others in the community, and were first used by veteran print journalist, P Tomi Austin, circa 1990, when her presence was noticed by other users in chat rooms, who queried her reasons for not engaging in chat. There were repeated inquiries about her identity and her refusal to engage in chat. The etiquette was, apparently, to greet other users upon entry into the chat rooms/sites. At the time, (then in her 30s, surfing among users averaging in their teens and 20s) she was only identified as "Bilbo", she explained that she was a mature, but computer-literate, user and novice to chat, and preferred to lurk, or was lurking to familiarize herself with the chat culture, etiquette, and the sites to which she had logged on. In some instances, she needed to explain her coinage of the term "lurking", as the term was new to the online community, but others quickly understood her meaning. To her knowledge, the terms had not been used prior to that period, and there appears to be no earlier dated reference to the coinage. There appears to be no attribution to the coinage that pre-dates the early 1990s.[citation needed]
For example, a large 2005 study of radical Jihadist forums by Akil N Awan found 87% of users had never posted on the forums, 13% had posted at least once, 5% had posted 50 or more times, and only 1% had posted 500 or more times.[5]
The "90–9–1" version of this rule states that for websites where users can both create and edit content, 1% of people create content, 9% edit or modify that content, and 90% view the content without contributing.
A 2014 study published in the Journal of Medical Internet Research by Trevor van Mierlo found that the 1% rule was consistent across four separate digital health social networks (support groups for problem drinking, depression, panic disorder, and smoking cessation). During the study period 63,990 users created 578,349 posts, but less than 25% of users made one or more posts. The applicability of the 1% rule was confirmed as Lurkers (90% of users), Contributors (9% of users), and Superusers (the 1%) accounted for a weighted average of 1.3% (n = 4668), 24.0% (n = 88,732), and 74.7% (n = 276,034) of all content.[6]
The actual percentage is likely to vary depending upon the subject matter. For example, if a forum requires content submissions as a condition of entry, the percentage of people who participate will probably be significantly higher than one percent, but the content producers will still be a minority of users. This is validated in a study conducted by Michael Wu, who uses economics techniques to analyze the participation inequality across hundreds of communities segmented by industry, audience type, and community focus.[7]"..."

3)  According to: Paul Schneider
http://blog.socious.com/bid/40350/Is-the-90-9-1-Rule-for-Online-Community-Engagement-Dead-Data

"... If the rule did not hold up, many companies and associations may be damaging their business and marketing strategies by basing decisions and benchmarking results using a general rule created in 2006 . So that the readers of this blog have a point of reference for when this rule for online communities was created, keep in mind that Facebook ended 2006 with only 12 million users (Facebook now has over 650 million users).

The 70-20-10 Rule of Community Participation  Has a nice ring to it doesn’t it!"

and

4)  According to: The Street, Real Money at http://realmoney.thestreet.com/articles/11/13/2013/revisiting-1-9-90-rule takes this in a whole different direction.

" ... refer to as the "1-9-90 Rule." Some of the older columns are no longer available, but the gist of the rule is that society is broken into three distinct categories as measured by wealth: the top 1%, the next 9% below them, and then the bottom 90%. The 1% create the laws and systems for enforcing the laws they deem necessary. The next 9% are charged with enforcing those laws and the bottom 90% are required to abide by them.

There is nothing new in this theory; it's been a constant throughout human history regardless of political, governmental, economic or financial structures. The system works to maintain political, economic and social order only as long as the 9% self-identify with the 1% and not with the 90%. This order breaks down when the 9% begin to identify more closely with the 90% and begin to align their mandate with the 90%. If that happens, the system becomes a 1-99 model and revolution against the 1% begins ... "

wow, that's a whoole lot of opinion on the subject.

Philanthropy In Education, From Grade School To Law School

Here are some recent giving events that impressed us:

Archdiocese of New York

The financier Stephen Schwarzman, and his wife, Christine, a former attorney, gave $40 million to help endow the Inner-City Scholarship Fund, which provides financial aid to needy children attending Catholic schools in the Archdiocese.
The donation is the lead gift in an effort to raise $125 million to endow the scholarship program. The Archdiocese will provide another $40 million and the rest will be raised from other donors.
Ms. Schwarzman serves on the board of trustees of the scholarship fund. Mr. Schwarzman founded Blackstone, a global asset-management firm.

KIPP DC

Joel Smilow, a retired chief executive of International Playtex Inc., gave $4.2 million to KIPP DC charter school to renovate and expand its campus. The school for students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade will be named for him.

Campbell University Law School

G. Eugene Boyce, an attorney, and his wife, Pat, gave $8 million in cash and property to the law school to establish the G. Eugene Boyce Center of Advocacy. The center will house the law school’s advocacy program and training programs on the use of new courtroom technologies during trials.

University of California at Davis

Bita Daryabari, a former Silicon Valley software engineer, gave $1.5 million gift to expand the university’s Persian-studies program.
The money will be used to establish a professorship in Persian language and literature and will support a colloquium on Iranian culture.

What does a family health crisis, Lord Of The Rings, wedding plans, a strategy board game, movie production, a military support org, cancer research, and a new comic book have in common?

What does a family health crisis, Lord Of The Rings, wedding plans, a strategy board game, movie production, a military support org, cancer research, and a new comic book have in common?

Each received some free crowdfunding consultation
from PICISI.com.

*  one of our first conversations was with the matriarch of a family of 5 in the UK, she and her family are struggling under the strains of chronic disease afflicting two family members, and financial hardship. We are doing what we can to verify the circumstances and impact to best allow the family to present themselves to the PICISI community for support;

*  a California TV actor is developing an action/comedy movie about a Hollywood agent.  We were asked to tell him why crowdfunding may be a good avenue to fund his project;

*  a US military and military family support organization asked if we would consider helping them with fundraising for specific projects they conduct to support 600,000+ US troops and their families. Of course we would do all that we can to support them. We expect to see future campaigns involving US military families in various ways: some with physical and or mental injuries, some who have created products, some who are fighting addictions, some who are seeking to create or expand a business, some who are seeking higher education, and some who are trying really hard to find family members who were missing in action;

*  we spoke with a news reporter who wrote about an award winning scientist in Buffalo NY who started a crowdfunding campaign at indiegogo to help fund his cancer treatment research/development project.  We were so impressed by the research that we asked the scientist to mirror his Indiegogo campaign at our site so we could participate. He's considering the offer;

*  a gentleman who wants to create a sequel for Lord Of The Rings spoke to us about his idea.  We advised him to join Lord of the rings forums, groups, and associations to get a sense of what the Lord Of The Rings community wants, and to what extent some may join him to forward the endeavor;

*  we spoke with three young writers at a Florida restaurant where we learned they were collaborating on a new comic book project with diverse characters and themes.  We believe we should be able to line up local radio and tv interviews to talk about the project;

*  a bride to be thought crowd funding would be as easy as creating the listing, she quickly realized that wasn't the cased so she ended her gofundme campaign to rebudget based on her original plans.  We asked her to consider crowdfunding the project at our site, her wedding is a month away so it may be too late but let's see if we could make her special day more special than she planned;

*  Armis is a high strategy board game. and PICISI.com endorser.   The game could be played online at www.ArmisGame.com, the crowdfunding campaign will provide physical games to a set number of libraries
This campaign is expected to start on Wednesday.

We are looking for pro writers, and pro videographers who are registered PICISI Promotion Contractors to contact these people to earn Pi by satisfactorily capturing the reporting their unique stories.

PEOPLE ARE CALLING PICISI A BRIGHT IDEA

This story was first published at CrowdfundingPR.org then subsequently republished at: Crowdsourcing.org, ewallstreeter, and The Einstein Foundation

People are calling PICISI a bright idea, an innovative plan, a complex project, a global community, a growing startup, and a crypto currency; yes, it is all of that and a crowdfunding site too.  Let's talk about the currency ...

The technical name for the currency is "PICISI" we simply call it Pi.  Pi's currency code is NUMUS (Latin for currency).  The total supply of Pi is fixed at 500,000 units approximately 5x the anticipated monthly use volume.

Pi was created:

1)  to creatively raise capital for initial website construction, finance global operational licenses, and any other major expense,

2)  primarily to finance PICISI's ongoing promotion effort, paying Promotion Contractors to promote the site, its sponsors, as well
as campaigns featured at the site,

3)  to enable campaign organizers to select PI as the host CC for their campaign(s) and to give sponsors an additional payment option.

PICISI introduced Pi to the cryptocurrency (CC) community at the equivalent value of $1 per/unit. each.  The currency is expected to increase steadily in value with meaningful popularity, site upgrades, global license procurement, and as site earnings increase -- a $10 Pi is a good 1st year resting target.

Two factors that will influence Pi's future value are: the rates PICISI pays for global services rendered by Promotion Contractors, and the rate at which PICISI will "rebuy" Pi on the open market.

PICISI.com is seeking an official exchange sponsor; once in place there is where PICISI will exclusively purchase Pi using fiat earnings.

Normally with any currency once funds are raised and removed they are never returned, always resulting in a devaluation of the currency over time. That is not the roadmap for Pi; PICISI's rebuy plan will be used to inject added value into the recycled currency.  Theoretically the rebuy plan should actually cause Pi's value to increase over time.

PICISI’s rebuying method of recirculating Pi is designed to: strengthen the currency, provide a store of value, and produce global goodwill for PICISI.com.

The PICISI Community Council, PICISI Admin, PICISI Social Media, PICISI's 1st Google Feed, 1st Promotion Contractor contract, + more

The PICSI Community Council

We will impanel a community council that will be able to vote to determine if 'hot button' /controversial  campaigns will be permitted at PICISI.com.  We strongly believe that larger numbers of people make the best decisions -- crowdvoting.  The PICISI Community Council will consist of no less than 100 people, their vote will carry regardless of outcome.

PICISI Scams, PICISI fraud,  If scams or fraud take place at PICISI.com

We will do what we can to mitigate damages in a couple ways. Once we arrive at a clear finding of fraud/scam (not simply inept, stupid, or lazy), we will do a full analysis of damages to report to local, state, and national authorities. Then we will conduct a CF campaign to spread the pain thin enough that it is negligible to those involved. And lastly we will use some PICISI funds to find, sue, and collect from the perp all of the damages.  The Community Council will be involved many aspects of this protocol.

1)  by an Administrator,
2)  by a Promotions Contractor doing ‘Staple’ Assignments, these are no bid contracts,
3)  by a Promotions Contractor doing ‘Reserve’ Assignments, these are bid contracts, and;
4)  by a Referral Agent

Earlier in May PICISI put out a public request for bids to design the logo for Pi, given that PICISI has not yet launched the response was light, especially considering that payment for the service would be made in Pi after the currency is launched.  Of the bids that were submitted  MakingMoneyHoney was selected and awarded the contract.

All of the bidders were good designers so the competition was tough.  MakingMoneyHoneywon the bid and produced the following images: MakingMoneyHoney of which PICISI selected the following image to be the official logo for Pi:

The image is of a home-made blueberry pie, with the ‘Pi’ sign with a group of people cut-out in the center of the pie.  At the lower right of the Pi symbol is the word “NUMUS” — Pi’s currency code.

PICISI is very please with the work and has acknowledged it is the first bid contract PICISI has awarded and will be paid for with Pi.
