Questions A Writer Asked A PICISI.com Admin That Never Got Published || #PICISI

1)  What initially attracted you to Bitcoin?

I don't remember what the initial attraction was, but my guess is early research dismissed it.  Once the industry is cleaned up it will be an enormous opportunity for very many people.

2)  Why is PICISI important?

Utility is the greatest value determinate for any currency (fiat and/or CC), the more a currency is used as a currency the stronger it will be,  PICISI allows CC communities to present their respective CC messages in many different ways:
a) advertise the logo on the site, in specific campaign text, in campaign video, and many other ways,
this allows them to brand their message,
b) offer actual CCs as a perk in a campaign. this allows them to place their 'product' in the hands of people interested in having the CC.
c) there are two ways a CC could be used at the site: to donate to a campaign,  and to pay a  campaign contractor for services rendered.

3)  What real life problems with existing crowdfunding platforms is PICISI wanting to solve?

we see this more in terms of ‘good, better, best’ practices, at PICISI.com:
  • we accept multiple currency types (fiat, and CC),
  • 100% of campaigns will receive: some homepage face time, some consultation, some sponsorship, some publicity, and some funding,
  • all members will be verified,
  • all campaigns must be reviewed by admin before inclusion,
  • we will work with other crowdfunding sites at times,
  • we associate with self-employed people globally as Promotion Contractors to help promote PICISI,
  • we have our own currency,
  • we provide free escrow service for campaign contractors deals,
  • we permit campaign contractors to work for campaign owners to create, develop, and promote campaigns, with 3 way feedback (escrow, contractor, and owner)

4)  In what ways are you similar or different from other crowdfunding sites? (not including cryptocurrency or everyone walks away with something) looking to understand your methods in the back end.

Sponsorship is a major difference, our sponsors and advertisers support specific campaigns many of them will work to promote various campaigns in addition to providing the campaign with funding because they believe in the project and realize that campaign success is very good for their CC brand.

Our pricing is very competitive, for fiat our fee is lower than Kickstarter and Indiegogo.  All sponsor fees come with an unconditional money back guarantee.

For all those who buy Pi (the PICISI issued currency) from us we will provide a non-transferable buyback guarantee at the purchase price.

When we collect fees in fiat we will use those funds to buy Pi at public exchanges.  If we have an  exchange sponsor we will buy Pi exclusively at that exchange.

Everyone working for PICISI is paid with Pi, we will do what we can to make Pi very strong.

5)  Other crowdfunding platforms control the types of projects funded, what will PICISI do in this regard?

We want campaigns that can produce goodness, campaigns that potentially could be matched-up with at least 3 sponsors, and campaigns we are willing to write an article about.  Every campaign must have mgmt approval to go up.

6)  Why did you choose the "promotion, promotion, promotion" motto? Why is it important to the message of PICISI?

PICISI is designed to promote our: site, sponsors, campaigns, and currency, most of that promotion will be done by Promotion Contractors.  Promotion contractors are self-employed individuals or entities worldwide who do PICISI assignments to earn Pi.  The more people know about PICISI the more contractors, sponsors, campaigns, and donors we will have.

As such we will promote PICISI everyday. Our objective is to hire very many people around the world to make sure that everyone in the world knows about PICISI.

7)  How will you handle so many different CC and fiat currencies?

Stripe/Paypal handles fiat, we handle CC.  Once an organizer selects a host CC sponsor all CC donated to that campaign will be immediately converted to that host CC.   Accumulated funds are delivered to the campaign organizer at the conclusion of the campaign.

8)  Tell us why community is important to you?

Community allows for thoughtful consideration of major issues, they tend to make better decisions which is why larger groups are often sought when making critical decision (jury, supreme court, board of directors, etc …) ,  and community allows for combining of resources for the betterment of the community.

9)  How do you select your sponsors?

It started from those who were closest to us, specifically the pool of sponsors involved with the Havekes project (EMC2, HYPER, and others), from there it grew to those who understand our vision and/or supported our message.

Now new sponsors are vetted on the basis of knowledge about PICISI, financial capacity, and desire to protect our message.

Can The PICISI Currency Go From $1 To $700?

The PICISI issued currency (aka Pi) was introduced to the public at a meager equivalence of $1 p/Pi  at the end of August, since then it has been listed at approx $5 p/Pi.

Yesterday someone listed Pi at a whopping equiv of $700 p/Pi.  At first this may seem silly however according to the PICISI rebuy plan: 'fiat funds earned by PICISI will be used to buy Pi at prevailing rates'.   That means once the lower cost Pi is purchased the higher priced Pi is next in line.

Here are the current listings:  https://nxtportal.org/currencies/1350076970661039300

The first live PICISI crowdfunding campaign kicks off on Monday so it will be a while before PICISI earns fiat, but this will be interesting to see how this turns out once fiat funds start rolling in.

Attention Freelancers, Self-Employed, Work-At-Home Pros, Become A PICISI Promotion Contractor Promoting A Crowdfunding Site, Site Sponsors, and Campaigns At The Site

PICISI is an idea, a plan, a project, a community, a company, a currency, and a crowdfunding site.

A PICISI Promotion Contractor (PC) is a self-employed entity that is registered with PICISI to satisfactorily completed PICISI assignments in order to earn Pi.  Each PC proudly stand behind their work with a satisfaction guarantee policy.

PICISI is the technical name given to the currency created by PICISI.com, the currency is referred to as Pi.  PCs earn Pi after satisfactorily completing a PICISI assignment of their choosing.

Here is the list of PICISI assignments PCs may choose from: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1jwnzet1SjacgDnwim3SkSEiTFJIaaNmlX0WGvFN8BB4/edit?usp=sharing   as you will see the assignments are wide ranging, including but not limited to: creative and technical writing, video production, graphic arts, and social media marketing.  Assignments are often updated to forums and twitter before they are placed on the list.  Once the PICISI blog is running that will be the place of introduction for all new listings.

Assignments are either ‘staple’ or ‘reserve’, staple assignments like writing about a campaign, or doing a follow-up video on a successful campaign are always in demand, where as reserve assignments are often very limited like creating the PICISI logo, or creating the PICISI website.  Some reserve assignments are special, like the forum signature campaign, PCs who are tenured members of a specific forums will use specific PICISI code in their signature to convey a PICISI.com message, this is special because although the work is done once they are often able to get paid multiple times (monthly).

The general protocol is for the PC to tell PICISI admins what assignment s/he wants to do so the admins could provide guidance, once PCs are accustomed to PICISI quality standards they are able to do staple assignments without advanced notice; however reserve assignments always need notice.

PCs may also request assignments that are not listed, simply tell PICISI.com admins, if the assignment is accepted it will get listed and broadcast for fair consideration and open bidding.

The Pi that PCs earn may be traded at the NXT exchange or any other exchange where Pi is listed.   Fiat earned by PICISI.com will be used to buy Pi at exchanges selling Pi, this insures a steady demand for Pi.

Pi’s value will change from time to time, it was introduced with a value equivalent to $1 USD, it is currently listed at substantially above that mark.  If no one buys the currency but the time PICISI.com is ready to buy then PICISI.com will purchase at prevailing rates with the fiat resources available at that time..

Sponsor, Advertiser, & Endorser

In order to better appreciate the varying strengths of the PICISI community we have identified 3 specific levels of support:

Sponsors are individuals or entities that pay a fee to meaningfully engage with PICISI for a set period of time.  For CCs engagement is expected to be sponsorship of crowdfunding campaigns, but it could also be in other measurable ways involving social media and/or Pi investment.

Advertisers simply pay for specific promotions; they may but are not required to engage the site in any other way.

Endorsers are those who support the PICISI vision and have permit the fact to be publicly known; they may but are not expected to engage the site in any other way.

Contact us if you want to support PICISI.com in any of the above ways.

Our Pledge To Our Sponsors
  1. 100% Satisfaction - we promise that you will get more than you pay for or your money back on request.
  2. Promotion - our directive for promotion is to promote the site, our sponsors, and the campaigns located at our site.
  3. Buy & Use Pi - your Pi  purchase is guaranteed too, if the rate ever goes down you can sell it back to us at your original purchase rate (first in, first out).

Someone at a forum asked the following concerning the above:

Can you please explain what the titles mean? For example:

"Host CC"
"Ad Perk max #4 p/camp"
"Donation Perk max #4 p/camp"

etc.? As well as what the prices relate to (Host CC says "$1.10" -- is that permanent, monthly, weekly, daily, CPM?).

Sure.   PICISI.com has three classifications of corporate support: 'endorser', 'advertiser', and 'sponsor'.   The endorser supports us in word and/or deed but is not expected to pay for anything.  The advertiser pays for specific advertisements placed, they are not expected to engage with the site via social networking or offline activities.  Sponsors pay a fee to be a sponsor, currently that fee is $100 USD for a term of 6 mos.  Sponsors are expected to support the site by buying advertising at locations on the site; sponsors are also expected to support individual campaigns by being the host CC sponsor, a advertising perk sponsor, a donation Perk sponsor, a campaign sponsor, and/or the video sponsor; and lastly sponsors are expected to support the site at times with favorable engagement on social media in the form of comments, likes, shares, favorites, etc ...

Definitions for terms used above:

1)  General Sponsorship Fee  6 month term - this fee buys the privilege of being a PICISI.com sponsor for the term indicated.

2)  Host CC - the Host CC sponsors is the cryptocurrency that all other CC donations for that campaign will be converted to.  There are essentially 3 ways the host CC is determined: a) direct selection of the campaign organizer, b) by auction, or c) the first to offer equiv of $1.  Most of the campaigns will likely be 'first sponsor to offer $1'.

Acme Beauty products creates a campaign to expand their line, they have friends at Magi so they opt to select Magi to be their Host CC sponsor.   Each time someone donates CC of any kind it is immediately converted to Magi and reflected in the new Magi balance.   This enables any CC to be donated to the campaign, however all CCs for that campaign will be converted to Magi for the duration of the campaign.   During the campaign CC is never converted to fiat, and fiat is never converted to CC.

3)  Max #1 p/camp - only one sponsor per campaign.

4)  Ad Perk - an advertising perk is a gift package that is provided by a PICISI sponsor or advertiser, that is offered to donors of the campaign via perk selection, unused portions of the perk are returned to the advertisers or sponsor after the conclusion of the campaign.

Acme Roofing company creates a CF campaign to expand their business, GSM coin wants to offer 80,000 GSM as an advertising perk.  PICISI.com may create a perk that allows a donor to receive 10K GSM for a $7 donation to the campaign.   Any portion of the 80K GSM remaining is returned to the sponsors / advertiser.

5) max #4 p/camp -  up to 4 different sponsors or advertisers could be part of the campaign with all different product/service types.

6) Donation Perk - donation perk and advertising perk are identical until the end of the campaign, for ad perks the remaining portion not going to campaign donors is sent back to the sponsor / advertisers, for donation perks the remaining portion not going to campaign donors is converted to the host CC then donated to the campaign organizer.

7)  Campaign Text - a specific area of the campaign description is set aside for advertising / sponsorship, that area will be available for up to 5 sponsor / advertiser logos.

Video  -  the first 5 seconds of the campaign video are set aside for the sponsor / advertiser message.  The format is: narrator says: "this video is brought to you by: Hyper [Show logo], [narrator says HYPER mantra]; then campaign video starts.

Only one sponsor/advertiser per campaign.

This video is also archived on youtube and other video hosting sites indefinitely at PICISI channels.  As such it will have life after the campaign is over.

Question: Host CC says "$1.10" -- is that permanent, monthly, weekly, daily, CPM?
Answer: That is the price per campaign.

thanks for your ongoing support of PICISI.com
